Spring is in the air!

Yesterday officially the first day of springseason. And wasn't it a lovely day?! Full of sunshine and children playing outside. In the morning birds are singing and outside you feel fresh air, knowing that in the afternoon you will ride on your bike with the sun on your still somewaht pale cheeks and your coat on the handlebar...

From a nice yellowcolored zpagetti I crocheted a basket for our eastereggs. And for decoration I made some small daffodils.

The chocolate eggs I put in where melted when we arrived home yesterday afternoon, not a good idea! We will put some real, home decorated eggs. I will do this with the kids.

Getting colder

As long the sun is shining everything outside is so beautiful. Sun thrue colorful leaves in the trees, partly blue sky even the birds are still singing. But when the sun is gone... I feel it's getting colder, brrr and getting up in the morning in the dark. I always have to get used to that and find it hard sometimes.
But in the weekends a late and lazy breakfast when the sun is shining.... Wonderful!

Still, the fall is a beautiful season with a lot of temperament and nature preparing for winter, protecting small animals and seeds with all those leaves and time to go inside. Inside the house, inside yourself.
In front of the fireplace... With a book, unless you can't wait till you're inside :-)

Herfstbos

It was beautiful this weekend, sunny weather, blue sky. We collected bags full of chestnuts and made fun with all those leaves.

She's got the eye of an artist. She walks around with this camera between her eyes and the world around her and she just takes pictures because she likes what she sees. And that's what we see when we look at her pictures. She lives in a beautiful world. And we are happy for that!
